- Long ago there was a Parson living at Kiltallow. There was a stone in the side of the road near the Parson's house. People payed rounds to this stone every Saturday evening and for every round they gave they put a piece of a rag on the white thorn bush.
The Parson got angry and ordered his men to put the stone inside the ditch next morning the stone was in the same place.
The next morning he told his men to put the stone into his barn. It was below in the same place the next morning the Parson did not interfere with it since. That stone is called "chloch mo(continues on next page)- Collector
