  2. The thistle is the most harmful weed growing in the farm. In any crop it grows it ruins it because it sends down its roots deep into the soil, taking away the nourishment the crop requires. it is also very troublesome to pull it as there are thorns on it. The chicken-weed is also very troublesome. It generally grows in bunches and spreads its roots in all directions, covering up the crop.
