The country side in misery _ all covered with turf-mould.
They organised a search party, who tried for miles around,
To discover those poor bodies they searched each inch of ground.
For all next day it moved away some sixteen miles or more
And when it reached down towards Rathmore
They cried we're all no more.
Before it reached to Headford some bridges were thrown down
