  1. One night a man was on his way home from Killarney driving a horse and cart. When he came to a certain part of the road he heard a noise inside the fence. Being curious stretched in over the fence and saw an old woman sitting on a stool.
She threatened to kill him but he challenged her to fight.
He had a butcher's knife that he bought in Killarney. That day and he stuck her with it.
When he looked again to see if she were dead it was a frog he saw with a knife stuck in it.
