  1. Páirc na Sióga
Once there lived a farmer in Lissivgeen. He used to "mock" his cows in a certain field every night
But his cows used to be left out and the sticks thrown on the roadside. He did not know what to do.
He told his neighbour who was a very wise man all about it.
The neighbour told him to watch for one night. The farmer said he would be afraid.
The neighbour said he would stay with him.
When the night came the two stayed up and watched. About one o'clock they heard a noise
They went to see what it was.
They saw a woman dressed in white sitting near the gap. They asked her what she was doing. She said she was minding the gap.
They said they would stay with her but she said she would mind it alone, and she advised them to go home. They went home and were delighted.
