The round; the full Rosary, or in case of emergency the five Paters, Aves and Glorias. Recite Creed on flagstone.
story:- Why the flagstone? asked a visitor, and the reply came promptly. "Did'nt "She" appear on the flag-stone to mark the Rosary Man? Why would'nt we kneel there"? The Rosary Man was probably the Dominican, Fr. Thaddeus Moriarty who was executed on Cnoc na gCaorach and ODaly wrote "The heretic soldiers still guard his grave."
This may explain the name of the place too - "Holy Cross".
Fr. Moriarty was prior of Holy Cross Abbey Ardfert
