- (continued from previous page)the giant told him he would kill him. The giant took him to his house and the little tailor said he should have his supper before the fight. Then the giant prepared the supper, and the tailor had a couple of pants on him, and he filled the pants with porridge. When he had finished packing in the porridge into the pants he said to t he giant "When you will kill me I will be alive again. You must do what I will do before we fight". The little tailor got a knife and cut the pants, and out came the porridge. The giant did the same and killed himself.
