  1. Pádraig Ó Muinínicháin of Cnoc Dúbh Ráth, now almost 70 years, asserts when he was a garsún of about 10 yrs, he saw a Clúthrachán sitting on a large stone, in a field near Tuar Gearr called An Gáirdín. "The little man" he says " was very small entirely, & wore a little hat. He had not time to observe what kind of clothes he wore, or had no intention of inquiring after his crock of gold. "I ran" he says "as fast as my legs would carry me & didn't stop to look back either.
    He, undoubtedly saw him.
