    It is believed that the son or daughter who is born after their father dying is able to to cure the thrush.
    If a child got the cradle cap they bought in a cabbage leaf and placed on its head This was supposed to be a very good cure for it. If a child had gumboils they mixed [?] and water and put it into the childs mouth and gargled it there with a quill. For a
