    The water that was squeezed off the potatoes. Left to stand for some time. Pour off gently when the starch has settled in the bottom of the vessel. Pour on some clean spring water. Repeat the process a few times until the starch is clean. When the white substance is perfectely clean spread out on a sunny day to dry and bleach.
