  1. Finn Mac Cool's wife lived at Sliabh Mis, and she had a sister that lived near us in Crochán. The sister that lived in Crochán was having a party and she told her sister in Sliabh Mis to throw her over a roll of butter.
    The sister did but the roll of butter fell before it reached her and it fell in Mrs Griffin's land and it is still to be seen this present day and the prints of five fingers on it.
    It is to be seen in the shape of a huge slab of stone upright by the side of the road.
