I often heard my mother saying that she knew two brothers ...

I often heard my mother saying that she knew two brothers that were there long ago. One of the brothers was killed by a bull.
The other person that was living used be driving the cow every night and the dead brother appeared to him two or three times in succession and he used show him the side the the bull holed.
His bother told the priest that he had seen his dead brother. The priest told him then to carry a bottle of Holy Water the next time that he would be driving the cows, and when he would see him to make a round circle with the holy water and say to him that if he is his brother to come into the circle with him, and he couldn't come in.
He threw the bottle of holy water at him. Then the spirit went up in flames, for he was not his brother at all but some evil spirit. It was many a time he went driving the cows after that and he never again saw him.
