  1. In the townland of Castleisland there is a place called Leip Doudie. It got its name from a family who lived in the glen. There were five or six families living in the glen and every family had five or six goats. The people began to fight over the goats and in the end they said and men that could jump the glen would have all the goats. They all agreed to this. The climbed to the top of the glen and when they went in their turn to leap they fell down and were never seen again. There was a man named Doudie
