  1. The days of the week considered unlucky in this locality are Mondays and Fridays. People are loth to begin certain works such as ploughing, house-building, changing from house to house etc. on Mondays and Fridays.
    The Cross Day of the year known as Lady's Day occurs in this district. On this day a little wooden cross is made and hung from the roof of the house.
    Potatoes should be planted in March and should be finished prior to the fifteenth of April.
