  1. There is a grave in our locality. It is called Ballymacelligott churchyard. The church and churchyard are surrounded by a great high wall. It is very old. There are more tombs than graves in it, and it cannot boast of any very fine headstones the majority of them are plain. But some of the tombs are very fine. 1846 is about the oldest writings in the tombs.
    The graveyard is square, but is very uneven, there are several heights and hollows in it.
