  1. We own a field called the "Fort field." There is a large fort at one end of it. In olden times The Danes took refuge in these forts. In our farm there is also a field known as "The Kill Field", it is called so because at one time lime was burned there. About a mile from our home is a river called the "Ballyackey River."
