  1. It is stated that gold is hidden in the north of Tralee Golf links.
    One night a person in the district dreamt that gold was hidden in a cave there.The rumour was spread and a number of people gathered and started to dig.
    At first the task seemed in vain, but soon, the spectators were surprised to see shining caskets and on opening them, they found a quantity of gold. This happened about sixty years ago.
