  1. Long ago there lived an old man by the of O'Shea. He was very old, and when he walked his head touched the ground.
    When he died his head wouldn't stay down, and he had to be strapped to the bed. The night he died the house was full of people, and one man made a joke by cutting the strap.
    When he did the man popped up, the people got a fright and ran out. It was very mysterious to see the man come to life as they thought.

  2. In olden times a man was going going to Dingle fair to buy a cow. He had to go from Currakeen there and he had no means of conveyance he had to walk it. On that account he had to leave home early the evening before so to arrive at Dingle in time.
