  1. The only fair held around this district is Blennerville fair. It is only held once a year that is the 19 of December. The Children around this district go around the day of the fair, asking for their fairins, they still do it.
    There are fairs held in Tralee which is about a mile and a half from here.
    Buyers often transact business in the country, they often go out to the farmer's houses, and buy up the cattle on the land there. There is a fair held at Abbeydorney once a year, which is called the crossroad fair.
    Blennerville fair was never held in any other place except in the villiage street. A toll was always paid in the old days. Tolls haven't been paid for over 20 years now. The toll was usually about 3d or 6d or [?]. The toll was paid to the landlord Mr. Chute. In Tralee the toll is paid to Mc. Cowen's because
