  1. There was a man in Firies, and he hated the Catholics. He lived near the grave yard. In this grave yard there was a big high wall. At one side of the wall there was a big stone, and a flower grew on it. The flower grew up by the wall and formed a knot on the other side. The man was cutting briars and he cut the flower which was called "forget-me-not". When his son and daughter were born their toes were stuck together.
