  1. The young men of Stacksmountain had it as a custom to go playing ball every Sunday after mass. It happened that this day as they were in the height of their fun they saw a crowd dressed in white hurleying in the field below in which there was a fort. They hastened down to join them and just as they had topped the fence to go in, the team disappeared.
