    He heard an awful noise over his head and on looking up he saw a man’s legs coming down, later followed by his body, and shortly afterwards two more men followed. “Oh Holy Moses said he but I’m a done man.” The next thing was that they proposed was a game of football and three commenced. The two started playing against one and said the beggar to himself “Begor two against one will kill a poor man” and he offered his assistance. They accepted it and the cour continued the game. They played all night and poor Thadie that was the beggarman you know was worn out and fatigued. “Yerra” says Thadie “do ye play like this every night.” “We do” said they and they started looking at one another. “And” says Thadie “is [ ] anything troubling ye.” “May God bless you” said the three together “but you’re first men the came to do us good.” “When we were in this world we were very wealthy, we hoarded
