    fore moved into that district which is now called Mount Melleray. In taking over this place they had of course to take a lease for a number of years. It is said that at that time Daniel OÇonnell was asked to act as their lawyer. He drew up the document between them and their landlord and the lease would be from "to-day until to-morrow."
    The Monks and the landlord signed the document and the to-morrow being always yet to come they still hold possessions of the lands and property of Mount Melleray. They have now a beautiful Church and Monastery and College there and it is about the best farm that is
