  1. There was an old woman living all alone by herself near a big town. She was depending for her support on a couple of cows in the side of a bog, and she used make butter out of the sup of milk they had, and that was all she had to live on.
    She generally made the churn the night before and then took it to the big town very early next morning. Since she hadnt a horse or an ass she had to carry the ferkin on the top of her head and as the sun hadnt risen so early in the morning there was no fear that the butter would
