  1. One Autumn day there was a man on the side of a fort minding his cattle. He was not long there when he heard the music coming to him on the wind. He listened and he thought he never heard such sweetness before. He had a great desire to learn the tune and he spent a long time on the fence listening. He did not feel the time slipping and the end of it was that it was very late at night when he started for home he had to go though a stubble field . He pulled a stubble out of the ground and began to play the fairy tune. He went in home, he sat in the corner and started to play the tune again.
