  1. There was a man of the name of Kilgariff going to mass one Sunday to [?]. He was after dreaming three nights after other about a pot of gold under a bunch of rushes.
    When he was passing through the field of William Surlis he saw a bunch of rushes and thought they were like the ones he saw in his dream so he caught hold of them and pulled them. Under them a crock of gold was hidden.
    He would not wait to get it out for he would be late for mass. He got a sod and left it on
