  1. There are five churchyards in this parish namely, Gurteen, Mounterwin, Templeronan, Carntample and Killaraght. Each of these is situated in a townland of the same name except Templeronan.
    They are still in use. There is a church in Gurteen graveyard which is used as a Protestant one. There are the ruins of a church in Mounterwin graveyard and also in Templeronan.
    There are trees growing in all of them. People are sometimes within the ruin in the churchyard. There are no disused graveyards in the parish.
    Unbaptised children were buried outside the graveyard.
