  1. About forty-two years ago two young men, named Haydens, who lived in Mahanagh, Cloonloo, Boyle, Co. Sligo, were drowned in a lake known as Lough Gara. One of them was about seventeen years of age, and the other was a year or two older.
    They were repairing a road which passed by the lake, and they had a horse and cart. At that time the lake was frozen over. When they used to be coming home each evening, one would bring the horse and cart, and the other would come along the lake.
