    Some time in the last century there was a child born in a place called Curry, Co. Sligo. He was a beautiful child. Seven or eight young men used to go to the house where the child was born, card - playing everynight. When they used to go into the house the woman used to give the child to some of the young men, but there was one of them and the child liked him the best. He liked the child very well too.
