  1. The games I play are, marles, top-spinning, "playings dens", "colours" and "fool in the middle".
    Marbles are played in the early Spring and when the season for marbles ends top-spinning has it's fling. "Hide and go seek" can be played any time of year and the same is true as regards "dens" and "fool in the middle". "Colours" are played in Summer time when the weather is fine and the ground dry.
    When the nuts and blackberries are ripe in Autumn some evening after school I go and pick a little tin full. I enjoy myself eating the blackberries, not all of them however as delicious jam can be made from them. In Winter when the weather is cold and the ground is covered with snow to some inches
