  1. There is a treasure supposed to be hidden in Kingsfort about two miles west of this school. It is said that the fairies placed it there a long time ago. It is supposed to be buried beside a lone tree and covered with a flag. Attempts have been made to find it, but nobody has succeeded so far. The hidden treasure consists of a pot of gold. Often lights have been seen where the treasure is hidden, but the people are afraid to go near it.
