  1. We have cows, sheep, pigs, calves, a horse and, a donkey, at home. We have five cows; each of which has a name. We have the "Magpie" which is just the colour of a mag. We have Bany; a white cow, Blacky; a black one, and Browny; a brown one and the Kerry cow.
When we are driving the cows in and out of the field we say "horse pet" "Pruige" and so on. When we are calling the calves we say "Suck Sucks." Every one having cows has a cow-house.
Some people call cowhouses byres. Cow-houses are made into two parts to accomodate six, seven or any number of cows. The two parts are devided (into two part) by a channel which is lower than the other parts.
