    saucers, no plates. They had wooden bowls for drinking out of and also had sort of wooden plates.
    They had no tables as we have or chairs, we are told when the potatoes were boiled they were strained into a basket and left in the middle of the floor then the people sat around and ate them.
    We are told that the men had five or six hours of work done before they came in to their breakfast of potatoes eggs and milk.
