    In autumn they are dug and put in heaps. Then they are put in the barns for the winter.
    How oats and wheat are sowed First the plough the land then it is harrowed again then when the braid comes up it is rolled with a rollor and horse to strengthen the roots. In late spring we sow the mangolds and turnips First they make drills then the mak holes and put the seed in and then the clap the drills. In the beginning of April we cut the turf then we scatter them, then we clamp them and in a few weeks we put them out and bring them home and make ricks of them for the winter.
    In July we cut the meadow and save it.
