    The farm animals are the cows, pigs, sheep, calves, donkeys, horses, and goats.
    Some of the cows are called pollys and others have no name, usually the pollys have no horns,
    when we are gathering the cows in the evenings to be milked we call them pruggy pruggy, and the come with their call.
    The cow-houses are made of stone and there are stakes on each side.
    It is sometimes called a byre, Each cow is tied to a stake, with a chain and rope. The rope is round the cow's neck, because it is soft for the cows neck, or fearing she might get tangled is would be easy to cut the rope.
