The travelling folk are the tinkers tramps and pedlars. We have tinkers and pedlars in this district.
The tinkers sell carpets, pictures and gallons. The pedlars sell hens, needles, books, pictures. The tramps sell nothing they only beg for alms.
Some of the tinkers are donkey and horse dealers. Colderbanks, McGinleys, McDonagh's and Kennedy's are donkey dealers.
