  1. There was a church in Kilcreevin long ago. Nothing remains of it now only the floor. Four years after it was knocked down, there was a man coming home from rambling and he heard a bell ringing where the chapel was. He went in on the place where the door was and as he entered, the bell stopped ringing. When this man went home he went to bed as he felt sick. He did not live long afterwards.
