    The teams that played were Upper Carrigans an Lower Carrigans. They played in a field name Drungán when it was owned by Mr Duke. A man named McDermott who lived the field kept the ball and he was the referee.
    There were fifteen men on each side. The ball was the same size as the balls the footballers use now.
    One team was as good as the other. The score was one goal each side.
