  1. The football matches were held in Dee Mullin's field and Andrew Baker's in olden times.
    Carrigans and Drumfin were the teams. There were fifteen men on each side. Drumfin men were dressed in blue and green and Carrigans men were dressed in red and white.
    Mr Frazer was the referee and sometimes Dee Mullins was the referee.
    The ball was very small and if they weren't able to buy one James Tonry a native of Carrigans made a ball. He got wool and old rags and covered it with leather. Sometimes if a pig was killed he got the bladder and made a great football.
