    he passed by her stopped and washed his hands and after he had washed his hands he blessed the Well and passed away. There was a man not very far from Derroon and his hands were covered with little warts or pimples. The man went up to the Well and washed his hands and before he had left the Well the warts were entirely gone. So from that day to this it is said that St. Patrick left that cure in the Well.
