  1. The juice of leek is very good as a cure for sore eyes.
    If we burned the leaf of the docking on a coal and take the vein out of it and tease it through our hands and leave it up to the burn, it is a very good cure.
    The greater part of those herbs are boiled on milk or water. Chicken-weed is a harmful weed, though it is a cure for a wart.
