  1. Gaffney and Mick McHugh went into Dawsons public house one day for a drink. There was no one there, but themselves three. They sat down on the seat outside the counter and they were very silent.

    And Poor old Mick McHugh.

  2. John McGovern of Camross was a great poet. He composed many songs. The first song he composed was of Matthew B. Morris of Ballybrennan, B O'Dwyer and T O;Hara.
    They went to Ballymote to pay a licence out for a dog and the went into Mrs. Rogers a publican in
