    Some people say that if certain people look at or leave their eye on any person or thing that the person will die or some mishap will occur. If an animal, he will die or pine away.
    Weasel
    If a weasel run across a person's path, that man or woman will not continue his or her journey.
    So and so met me.
    Ten thousand evils are bound to befall me.
    Left shoe
    If a left shoe is handed 1st, dreadful trouble and black looks will follow. If a person walks over the threshold left foot 1st, misfortune will follow.
    Right eye
    If it itches tears will follow.
    Ass brays
    Sorrow.
