  1. There is a big Mass Rock in Ballybrennan near Ballymote. There is a story told about it.
    One day during the penal times, a priest was saying Mass when the guard told him the soldiers were near. He jumped on his horse and rode away. The people hid the sacred vessels and vestments. The priest got away safely but the sacred vessels and vestments were never found.
