    Answer. A man heckling flax.
    2 As I was going to London
    I met a little pracher (preacher).
    I put him in my pocket
    For fear the ducks would ate him
    He began to bite me, I began to bate (beat) him
    I threw him on the potato shough,
    For all the ducks to ate him.
    Answer. A Frog.
    3 Under gravel I do travel
    Over sand I do stand
    I rode a mare that never foaled
    And held the bridle in my hand
    Answer. Engine-driver.
    4 As I went out Clover hill.
    Clover hill was shaking
    All the birds in Clover hill
    Would cover half an acre.
    Answer. A man winnowing.
