  1. There is one Graveyard in this parish; Aughannagh and the Graveyard is in the townland and Parish of its own name. But there are others situated near the Parish namely: Killmorgan Ballindoon Townagh Templemore and Killmactranny. There is either an old Church or Abbey at each of the Graveyards and there are people buried inside.
    In the old church of Aughannagh Colonel St Barb is buried. He was first constable in Ballinafad castle.
    Most of the Graveyards that I know are situated on heights slope towards the north and are round in shape.
    There is an old disused graveyard at Cloghogue in which unbaptised children were buried. There are no trees growing around any of the Graveyards.
    At Templemore Graveyard there are very old Graves. Some of them are so old that the moss has grown over the inscribtions on the tombstones and they cannot be read. Some families come very long distances in order to get their dead buried in their own burial place.
