  1. One night a man dreamed that there was a pot of gold in a field and that there would be a life lost in getting it. Next morning he told his dream to his sons.
They searched for the pot of gold. When they had dug down twenty four feet in the ground they came to a big flag and one of the men dropped dead.
The rest of the men dug down afterwards and they got a pot of gold.
It is said they set up the shop in Ballyfarnum where Peter Devine now lives.
