  1. Once upon a time, a man named James MacHugh a native of the parish of Geevagh, county of Sligo barony of Tirerill was coming home from rambling one night. When he came to a turn, he met a small little man with a red cap, and a white trousers, who asked a piece of tobacco. When he got it he ran about four yards, and disappeared.
It is said it was a "leipreachán".
