  1. The names of weeds which grow in this part of the country are The Dock, Buachlan, St. Patricks Leaf, Chicken Weed, Flaggers, Fairy-Fingers, The Thistle, Nettles and Feara-Buns
    The Thistle, Nettle and Buachlan grow in good land and are harmful to it. Some people eat Nettles and they say that they are very healthy. A Thistle is a prickly weed and Scottish and is eaten by asses. St Patrick Leaf grows around houses and will cure any cut when put to it.
