    Some hundred years ago in the townland of Drumacool there lived a nail-maker about one hundred yards from where my house is situated. He lived in a hollow on my Grandfathers land along the side of a brae and that brae is called the Nailor's brae. Behind his little hut he had a kind of forge in which he made the nails of rod iron, the nails he made were something similar to the horse nails we use now. He cut the rod into equal bits, put
